ABACUS360 are management consultants, company secretaries, tax advisors and recruiters for senior finance and accounting roles, up to CFO level. Continued business growth has led to the need for a Tax Manager.

I. Title: Tax Manager

Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Contract period: 3 years – renewable
Work Schedule: Full Time
Organizational Relationships: Reports to Senior Partner
Supervises: Tax Supervisor
Coordinates with: Audit, Accounting, Secretarial departments

II. Statement of responsibilities

Managing client and in-house tax compliance issues, including quarterly returns, annual tax returns, transfer pricing, advisory services, developing departmental capacity, team and individual staff appraisals, improving service delivery and efficiency ratios.

Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Business

V. Required

At least five years’ experience as a tax inspector with Zambia Revenue Authority. Demonstrated working knowledge of Zambian taxation, including VAT, PAYE, corporate tax and transfer pricing. Excellent communication skills and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
