Marketing and Sales Officer X 1
Location: Lusaka
Employment type: 3 months contract, with a potential to renew at the end.
Start date: Immediate
Remuneration: 5000 Kwacha net pay, with perfomance bonuses.

Role expectation: To spearhead early stage marketing and sales strategy using mainly digital platforms apart from traditional platforms.
Specific duties:
Segment the target market and formulate the product communication strategies for each of the target market segments. Systematically and creatively select suitable digital and traditional media to use to communicate with the targeted audiences. Keep a calendar of marketing communication updated as a way to plan for content creation to suit each stage of the product cycle and business cycle. Assist in creation of marketing content concepts and material and publish the content. Monitor and evaluate the communication tools and propose changes or improvements. Monitor customer experience to ascertain continued usefulness of the product to the customer. Through simple market research, propose new product features that suit the various customers. Control marketing and sales budgets. Supervise junior sales officers and manage sales. Any other tasks in line with the overall Marketing and Sales process. Experience requirements(Any number of months or years):
Facebook advertisement and performance analysis. Email and SMS advertisement and analysis using any email campaign software. Goolgle advertisement and google analytics website traffic analysis. Linkedin company page management and advertisement. Traditional media advert buying in the newspaper, TV and other media. Influencer advertising. Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Personal characteristics:
Ability to lead small teams of sales people and others. Ability to multi-task Ability to form lasting relationships with partners Good interpersonal skills. Creative and innovative willing to learn new ways of doing things. Educational qualification: Any level of qualification with a minimum being a Diploma in any field from a reputable institution. The ability to perform the outlined tasks is more valuable.
