Marketing Executive

Africa Development College (ADC) is a college that aims to encourage, and empower individuals to realize their full potential through distance learning. Based in Kabwe, Central Province, ADC believes open learning should reflect, and impact all groups in society and enable individuals to participate and improve their skills.

We are looking for a Marketing Representative who will be responsible for the enrolment of new students, conducting marketing/promotional efforts in accordance with guidelines established by Africa Development College.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Representative will be tasked to sell advertising space and opportunities to businesses, organizations and individual clients. The duties and responsibilities of the marketing representative may include the following:

• To identify, contact and recruit potential clients
• Prepare sale presentations
• Modify sale materials and strategies to suit each client’s needs
• Promote advertising,  marketing materials and strategies
• Create and maintain client accounts
• Research and analyze internet sales and advertising trends

Requirements

• A minimum of a diploma in any relevant field
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
• Creativity and problem-solving skills
• First rate organisational skills with  a keen eye to pay attention to detail
• Self- motivated, pro-active, flexible, team player and identifying with and have alignment with the mission, vision and core values of ADC
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Confident with hands on persuasiveness to ‘sell’ ideas
• Cost prudent with a high level of integrity
