VACANCY: Distribution Manager
LEVEL: Senior Manager
LOCATION: Lusaka, HQ
JOB PURPOSE:
To establish and ensure complete channel infrastructure development and productivity across the various types of channel, like retailers, freelancers, AM agents, Mini shops.
Guide and put in place the granular distribution process management and establish structured route to Market at all distributor points through zonal teams and to monitor distributor
REPORTING TO THE SALES AND DISTRIBUTION DIRECTOR, THE MAIN DUTIES ARE:
- Distribution Infrastructure and Sales
- Performance Management and key deliverables
- Distribution Process management and governance
- Employee engagement and team building
- Monitor performances of all TSM and geographies and supporting in weak areas.
- Closely monitor all the KYC related actions and ensuring the KYC device availability across the sites.
- AM Super dealer performance and tracking in a structured manner.
Educational Qualification & Functional/Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related Social Sciences
- Advanced studies in Business Administration would be preferred additional qualification
- 10+ years of varied experience in Sales & Distribution with at least 2 years at manager level handling independent businesses.
- Relevant experience in Telecom industry is desirable but not a MUST
- Strong exposure to distribution and channel management
- Should have experience of leading a team of 4-5 direct employees and branch operations experience
