Debt Collector/Loans Officer at Astro Mobile Zambia

Job Description

• Keep tracking outstanding debts and plan course of action to recover all outstanding debt
• Debtors tracing
• Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans
• Handle customers’ queries or complaints
• Identify gaps in the system and recommend solutions
• Update account status and database regularly
• Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience as debt collector or Loans Officer
• Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
• Knowledge of relevant legal requirements
• Good knowledge of MS Office packages
• Good negotiation and persuasion skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills

Credit Management qualification will be an added advantage.
