Outreach and Research Officer

BBC Media Action is the international development charity of the BBC.  We are currently looking to recruit for multiple positions for two projects. Please note that all positions will involve extensive travel within Zambia.

We are recruiting for the following position for the SGBV Project ‘Natwampane’ funded by the EU. All positions are based in Kasama:

OUTREACH AND RESEARCH OFFICER: A minimum of 3 years work experience of conducting qualitative and quantitative research, preferably in either the social sector or NGO sector. Proven track record of designing research tools and questionnaires, and managing focus group discussions and in-depth interviews essential. Candidates with experience on researching social norms will be preferred.  Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Social Science or related field. Good analytical skills and report writing experience are essential requirements. Candidates must be able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision. Fluency in Bemba a plus.  A valid driving license strongly preferred
