Stores Manager at Benac Enterprises

BANAC ENTERPRISES LTD is a Company with interest in the food industry and is trading as Debonairs Pizza/Steers/Bounjour. We seek to employ suitably qualified, experienced and result-oriented individual to fill the position of STORE MANAGER.

JOB PURPOSE

Resorting to the Operations Manager, the Stores Manager will be responsible for receiving and issuing of stock items, inventory accounting and the smooth ruining of the store in general.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

The following are the responsibilities and will not be limited to;

• Plan, manage and perform daily, weekly and monthly stock checks and prepare inventory reports for management use.
• Reconcile book stock quantities with physical stock quantities, analyze, interpret and investigate the resulting variance.
• Conduct regular spot checks and ensure that system and actual stock levels balance.
• Ensure the receiving, issuing and disposal of stocks is undertaken in accordance with company procedures at all times.
• Handle customer queries if failed to be managed by Cashier and Supervisors.
• Implement and improve internal controls relating to inventories, including setting and monitoring minimum and maximum levels and re-order level.
• Ensure that Purchase is raised for restockable items.
• Ensures that all Goods Received Notes have been raised.
• Ensure that goods received are matched with the actual invoices from the supplier.
• Provides effective technical support in the storage and timely distribution of stocks in order to ensure availability and safe custody of stocks to meet operational and maintenance requirements.
• May be called to take on and perform any other duties as by the Superiors.

REQUIREMENTS

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Diploma in any Business related Program (CIPS will be an added advantage).
• Not less than one (1) year of experience in the same or related field.
• Manager with a high level of retail business knowledge.
• Training and interpersonal/presentation skills.
• High level of knowledge of computerized retail management systems.
• Goal directed, objective driven, innovative and enthusiastic individual.
