Marketing Officer – Heavy Duty Machinery at CAMCO

CAMCO was registered in Zambia in 1998 as a subsidiary of CAMCO GROUP whose headquarters is in Shanghai, China.CAMCO is one of the largest suppliers of machinery in Zambia, which includes; agricultural equipment, construction equipment, heavy duty equipment and more. CAMCO has been in operation for more than 20 years and has 5 branches in 5 provinces with its headquarter in Lusaka. CAMCO now seeks to appoint suitably qualified individuals for the following positions.

POSITION: MARKETING OFFICER – HEAVY DUTY MACHINERY (02)

JOB PURPOSE;

To market and sale heavy duty machinery (Graders, Rollers, Loaders, Excavators etc)

REQUIREMENTS;

• Diploma in marketing, business admin or Engineering
• A degree in any of the above fields will be an added advantage
• Working experience of 5 years and above
• Practical and applicable knowledge in the above field is essential

Main Tasks and Responsibilities;

• Collaborate withthe Heavy Duty Manager in developing quarterly and yearly sales marketing strategic plan
• Submitting of both weekly and monthly reports
• Understands the market competitive landscape, and is technically competent to identify and recommend solutions to meet the customer needs
• Ensure customer relationships flourish and go above and beyond to ensure their needs are met
• Effectively leverage other sales avenues that have come as a result of Customer’s visit
• Effectively resolve Customer’s issues that arise as a result of the sales process
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key Stakeholders
• Maintain and expand customer base through innovative methods and new product offerings
• Continuous customer’s communications to ensure expectations are met
• Account for every business sale made outside Company premises
• Ensure business done is within the Company’s goals
• Collaborate with technicians to perform demos to prospective Customers
