FINANCE OFFICER

Responsibilities

Supporting the Finance Manager in day to day routine finance and accounts tasks.

Job Description

• Performing reconciliations of bank and other ledger accounts
• Entering financial transactions using Microsoft Navision on a daily basis.
• Management of the Cooperative Share Holders Register
• Maintenance of the petty cash book
• Responsible for timely loan payments and settlement of local suppliers
• Timely update of member saving and loan accounts
• Filing finance documents on a timely basis
• Any other duties that may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Knowledge of Microsoft Navision 16
• Work experience in a similar role in any reputable institution or organisation will be an added advantage
• Ability to work in a team and strong customer focus skills
