Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee affirmation and settling of Interbank Foreign Exchange and Money Market trades.
  • Oversee manual confirmation of client Foreign Exchange and Money Market trades
  • Ensure prudent processing of all high value (RTGS) inflows & tax settlements.
  • Manage effective intraday communication with Treasury Front Office on liquidity by monitoring Bank of Zambia and New York current accounts.
  • Ensure accurate Preparation of regulatory and internal reports at prescribed times during the day i.e. Interbank Money Market return, EOD Citibank Foreign Exchange Returns, Intra FX rate reporting.
  • Effect Local and Foreign Currency Regulatory Reserve movements.
  • Manage movement of Securities in CSD for foreign investors(affiliates), Interbank counterparties and clients.
  • Manage coupon and fee payments on Securities.
  • Manage and Monitor Pledged Collateral for the Zambia Electronic Clearing House.
  • Reconciling Bank securities held with the Central Bank.
  • Review and update of treasury processes, policies and procedure manuals.
  • Monitor compliance of all treasury activities relative to policies, local regulations and procedures through Managers
  • Continuous Assessment(MCA) Process.
  • Maintaining effective communication with the regulator, i.e. BoZ, ZRA and LuSE.
  • Support Citi-service in providing after sales services on treasury products and timely resolution of customer queries.
  • Manage daily review of treasury reconciliations through Nostro reports.
  • Ensure Timely aggregation and provision of source docs to proofing team for all accounts assigned to TROPS.
  • Championing back offices audit process for both internal and external audits including liaisons on audit follow-up.
  • Communicating with counterparties and other functions in resolving queries relating to treasury transactions.
  • Undertake System Functional and connectivity tests for the Bank of Zambia Montran application.
Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:
  • University Graduate in Business Studies, Accountancy, Computer Studies, Sciences etc
  • 1-4 Years work experince, preferabley in Banking, Finance, Treasury or Commerce office.
