The Process Trainer will be responsible for conducting process training, theory and practical assessment on all fixed process plant operations of the Mine to ensure employees achieve full potential and meet production requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Conduct both field and classroom training
Facilitates off job the classroom PowerPoint presentation – which will include all compliance, competence generic courses for all floatation operations
Conduct theory and practical assessments in accordance with the assessment principles and in accordance with mines assessments guideline.
Coach and mentor candidates on the job in order to improve flotation efficiency and recovery and also improve production
Implement daily/weekly training assessments schedules
Assist with development of training material and assessments in accordance with ender users
Assist with development of operator learning materials and documentation Manuals, PowerPoint and assessment tools
Ensure safe operation of all equipment under the trainer supervision
Report daily training activities through the daily training individual reports
Any other duties as directed by the supervisor

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

Experience: 3 years
Education Level: Diploma Level
Qualifications: Teaching Methodology
Software: Proficiency in Computer Skills (word processing, spread-sheets, presentations, databases etc.).
Equipment: Job related
Knowledge Of: Recent developments in training and assessing
Skills To: Outstanding organizational and leadership
Ability To: Be conversant with all relevant health and safety matters
Personality: Well-developed written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to speak clearly and explain complex concepts to an audience.
Other: Qualification in Teaching Methodology will be an added advantage
