Cook (Private Chef)

Applications are invited from suitable qualified candidates to fill the following position at the Embassy of Brazil in Lusaka.

Position title: cook (private chef)

Duration: one year fixed term appointment (renewable)

Minimum requirements as follows:

• five-year experience as cook (private chef), experience with Embassies
  and International Organizations is an added advantage;
• grade twelve (12) secondary education;
• good working knowledge of English is required, knowledge of
  Portuguese is an added advantage.
• good knowledge of the international cuisine, including classical
  European techniques; knowledge of Brazilian gastronomy is an added
  advantage. Ability to cope with extended working hours, if necessary.
• must possess a polite and friendly attitude/demeanor. A tidy  appearance, courtesy, discretion and a high level of trustworthiness are essential personal attributes.

Salary and benefits: net salary of ZMW 4, 199.00 plus comprehensive  health and life insurance for employee and family members.
