About the Job
The Policy Project Officer wi Il be responsible for Programme management delivery administrative support by overseeing activities and arranging effective closure of Programme Interventions as well as providing strategic support in the development of regulation.
The Policy Project Officer is responsible to and will support the Head of Policy.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate must have:
- • Grade 12 school certificate
- • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Law, Public Policy or Business
- At least 3 years of demonstrable experience, at least 2 of which should be in financial inclusion, finance, or government policy in the financial sector.
- Demonstrated experience in research, policy, legal and regulatory analysis
- Demonstrated experience working with financial sector regulators
- Demonstrated experience in policy advocacy within or outside government
- Proven track record in working with teams and consultants/service providers including development of terms of reference where required
- Demonstrated clear, concise, well-organized, and accurate writing and editing skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communications skills especially
- Strong teamwork skills
