Information Technology Officer

POSITION: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

LOCATION: LUSAKA

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER

Applications for the position of Information Technology Officer are invited from suitable candidates.

The Information Technology Officer will work hand in hand with the Information Technology Manager in ensuring the smooth operations of all information technology systems and equipment in the company. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties,

• Provide technical support to staff on information technology related issues
• Produce and submit monthly activity reports.
• Install
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Trouble shoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Provide support including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• Support the role out of new applications
• Set up new user accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
• Work continuously on a task until completion
• Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.

Professional Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in I.T. studies or related field
• Significant relevant experience.
• Good team player
