Processing Manager at Green Dairy

We have an exciting opportunity for a Processing Manager to join our Green Dairy Team in Solwezi, Zambia!

• Develop and implement process solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Day to day operations of processing plant
• Provide training programs on new processes as needed.
• Maintain and update all the process related reports for reference purposes.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the organization’s products.
• Recommend innovative business and technical solutions
• Provide technical advice
• Advice dairy personnel concerning milk regulations and methods of maintaining a safe milk supply;
  Maintain records of investigations, inspections and research results, prepare reports and correspondence; Lab tests of products etc.
• In depth knowledge of a dairy processing plant and implement knowledge.
• Quality control of products.
•   All other instructions from manager.

Qualifications 

• Knowledge of principles, practices and equipment used in the production, handling and processing of milk and various dairy products.
•  Intensive laboratory and research principles and practices in evaluating dairy conditions and products.
•  Hands on experience in proper milk testing, milk production and milk processing (pasteurization, sterilization, etc)
• Must have experience working on a farm
• Diploma in related area.
• Experience in dairy processing plant.
• Must be highly organized and motivated
• Ability to work independently and co-workers.
