Management Couple or Lodge Manager and a Workshop Manager at Gwabi River Lodge

Looking for a management couple OR a lodge manager and a workshop manager to run a lodge on the Kafue river in the Zambezi Valley. Advantageous for both candidates to have lodge management or management experience in other fields.

His or her duties will be to ensure the smooth running of the lodge and making sure the guest have a memorable stay. The lodge offers boat safaris, fishing, canoe safaris and game drives.

The lodge has a fully operational workshop so preferable that one candidate is handy in the workshop especially with repairing boats and cars. The other candidate must have strong administration skills, manage all departments including housekeeping, activities, F&B etc, must have strong eye for detail, able to do stock control, strong organisational skills, capable with social media platforms, booking programs and be able to work well under pressure.

Candidates must be outgoing and able to socialise well with guests and ensure they are kept happy.

Both candidates must have strong leadership skills and be able to work with staff and keep them properly motivated.

Candidates must be energetic, have a strong work ethic and be able to work long hours when the lodge is busy. Both must be mature, responsible and able to deal correctly with issues when they arise.
