Restaurant Shop Manager at Henbulk Zambia limited

Henbulk Zambia limited trading as Henbulk Restaurant is seeking to employ a restaurant shop manager who will be responsible for managing the entire restaurant maintaining operational standards, safe guarding restaurant assets and customer service. The management team must ensure the brand integrity stays intact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct shift meetings with team members,
• Ensure operational standards are implemented in the restaurant
• Conducts opening and closing as well as mid day inspections,
• Manage financial procedures of the restaurant(cash ups, handling floats, banking)
• Conducts weekly evaluations and action plans,
• Compile reports sales turnover and sales mix,
• Manage restaurant stock levels according to laid down procedures (ordering, receiving, stock control and stock takes)
• Motivate and develop team members,
• Provide on job coaching and mentoring of crew to ensure desired skill levels.
• Interfaces with customers and resolve queries.
• Ensure friendly and hospitable restaurant atmospheres, manage by example,
• Conducts weekly staff meetings.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

• Grade 12 certificate,
• Previous qsr (quick service restaurant) experience at management level,
• Fluency in English,

ATTRIBUTES

• At least 2 years experience,
• Self driven,
• Able to work with minimal supervision,
• High levels of initiative and must be a hard worker.
• Must be between 25-40 years old.
