Ikeni Car Rental Limited is a Zambian, Lusaka based transport Solution Company that aims to be one of the largest travels and tour companies in the Sub Saharan region (Africa). Ikeni is in its initial stage and our focus is to build and serve businesses and individuals alike with plans to diversify with new industries served. Our business is to provide travel solutions such as rental/hire, leasing and chauffeur services.

We are currently looking to hire an Office Administrator to be a part of our young team to operate from our office....

Job Description

  • Arranges meetings by scheduling appropriate times, booking rooms and planning refreshments.
  • Manages correspondences answering e-mails, and sorting mail.
  • Assists in planning and arranging events including logistics and organising
  • Manages reception area and looks after visitors
  • Answers phone calls and transfers them as necessary
  • Drafts, formats and prints relevant documents
  • Maintains stock lists and orders office supplies as needed
  • Manages staff expense requests
  • Interacts with directors and carries out their requests.
  • Creates agendas and takes meeting notes
  • Assists purchase orders and invoicing
  • Photocopies and files relevant documents as needed
  • Take care of website functions and social media profiles
  • Does the banking and manages petty cash

Skills and qualifications

  • Prior office management experience (preferred)
  • Strong attention to details
  • Experience working with cars as an added advantage
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Experience in booking and/or accounts as an added advantage
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office tools
  • Strong prioritization and organization skills
  • Strong record keeping skills
  • Presentation skills including welcoming guests to events
  • Ability to multitask
  • Able to drive and holder of a valid driver’s license
