Head Teacher at King’s Highway SDA School

King’s Highway SDA School is a Christian School providing balanced education “training the Head, Heart and the Hand.” In addition to academic excellence we focus in training character and life skills to our pupils.

As part of its efforts to achieve its mission, the school is seeking an exceptional professional to serve as Head Teacher to drive delivery of academic instruction at the School. The candidate must possess successful senior leadership experience. He/She must be a dynamic, innovative and proactive leader; a change agent who is able to continue our journey to create a successful school by achieving the school’s mission. This position will report to the General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the school delivers quality of education in line with the school’s education curriculum
• Administer all academic matters of the school
• Ensure the learning environment is safe and conducive for both the learners, instructors and supporting staff
• Manage effectively all aspects that impact the balanced development of pupils
• Assist the Board through the General Manager in policy formulation and reviews
• Work with the General Manager to ensure the school’s policies are implemented

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• Bachelors degree (required) or Masters degree (preferred) in Education or related field
• Minimum seven (7) years of work experience with at least 3 years at senior management level
