It operates underground and open pit mines as well as metallurgical plants with operations located at Nchanga, Konkola, Nkana and Nampundwe. ARTISAN RIGGER X 11

Job Purpose

To provide rigging services to the production function

Job Accountabilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and statutory examination of all lifting equipment
• Ensure pulley and blocks are properly attached to beams, ceilings and pole booms
• Perform inspections of ladders, scaffolds and rescue equipment
• Replacement of worn out ropes on mobile cranes and overhead cranes
• Attend to rope ladders for overhead cranes
• Conduct general rigging jobs in the plant

Requirements

• Craft certificate in Rigging
• At least 3 years practical experience
• Innovative and able to work independently
• Must be a member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia
