It operates underground and open pit mines as well as metallurgical plants with operations located at Nchanga, Konkola, Nkana and Nampundwe. ELECTRICIAN x 2

Job Purpose

Carryout all electrical installations repairs and maintenance of equipment in the section

Job Accountabilities

• Examine electrical equipment in the plant to determine faults and provide remedial actions
• Interpret from knowledge of the plant, the tools and measuring equipment necessary to carry out the work
• Diagnoses the state of electrical repair of plant, and determines where necessary what parts and materials are required to effect repairs
• Ensures clean and tidy maintenance of tools and equipment after completion of task

Requirements

• Advanced/Craft Cedificate – Electrical
• At least 3 years practical experience
• Innovative and able to work independently
• Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia
