LDC Zambia Limited (a member of the Louis Dreyfus Company of Switzerland) is a leading agricultural company in Zambia working closely with the emerging farmers in cotton production and processing, commodity buying and storage.
In order to support its growth strategies in the Operations function, the company is seeking to engage a dynamic, highly driven and results orientated person in its Young Professional Program, to be based at Head Office in Zambia. This is a fixed term employment for a period of 12 months with a possibility of permanent placement upon successful completion of the program.
For over one year, the job holder (graduate) will be exposed and be responsible for cross cutting fundamental components and functions in cotton and grains purchases, quality control, processing, storage, sales and execution on a professional development basis in order to gain substantial experience to ensure efficient attainment of set goals.
The Program is designed to provide a strong basis for a role within the business as well as identify and develop people who have the desire to become active players in the company, across all functions. The Program combines classroom style instruction and on the job learning.
Variable responsibilities according to a rotational professional development plan will be assigned to the suitable candidate.
Experience
Final year undergraduates or graduates with less than one year of work experience.
Previous internship within a similar field and or industry would be a strong advantage
Skills
• Valid professional and immigration permits to work in country of employment.

• Willing to travel and to relocate within Zambia
• Excellent Computer and enumeration skills
