REGIONAL MANAGER

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCES  :

  • Full grade twelve certificate with at least a merit in Mathematics & English;
  • Full ACII/AIISA or equivalent professional qualification;
  • Diploma in marketing will be an added advantage;
  • Must at least be 30 year of age
  • At least 7 years’ experience in individual life insurance sales (Zambian Market);  Strong communication skills;
  • Strong people skills;
  • Computer literate;
  • Should be able to meet deadlines, be flexible and use initiative;
  • Should have good report writing skills and must be a
  • Team player – at least 5 years’ experience in team management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieving annual sales budget for the region.
  • Selecting, interviewing, recruiting and training team leaders and sales representatives to build and maintain productive sales teams.
  • Appraising performance of team leaders as well as sales representatives in the region on a quarterly basis and taking remedial action in cases of non-performance.
  • Supervising, motivating and recommending financing of new sales representatives.
  • Maintaining accurate records for the teams and individual sales representatives in the region.
  • Ensuring existing business is conserved through effective after sales service strategies.
  • Producing weekly and monthly production reports.
  • Retaining team leaders and sales representatives on the books of the company to enhance continuity.
  • Negotiating for new stop order agreements and supervising effective collection of stop order premiums in the region.
