Reports to: General Manager – Operations and Commercial

Sales Executive Job description

We are seeking a driven, self-motivated sales executive to join Sales Department. In this position, he/she will be responsible for pursuing sales opportunities through traditional channels and by utilizing new technology and communication software to reach new prospects. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer- focussed approached are a must.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry;
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities, recommending profit and service improvements
  • Identifies service improvements or new services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Negotiating contracts and packages
  • Demonstrating and presenting services
  • Aiming to achieve monthly or annual targets and reviewing sales performance

Sales Executive Skills and Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 and/or Advanced Diploma in Sales and Marketing;
  • IT Skills;
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and eager to work in a fast-paced multicultural organization;
  • A minimum four(4) years’ experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing;
  • Through understanding marketing and negotiating technique;
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach;
  • Meeting Sales Goals
  • Presentation Skills and Client Relationships
  • Creativity, Sales Planning and Energy Level
