THE COMPANY

Metal Fabricators of Zambia Plc (ZAMEFA) is a wire and cable manufacturing company for the domestic and foreign markets. Its major operations are in Luanshya on the Copper belt Province and it is a unit of CBI- electric group under the auspices of Reunert  group of  Companies which manage a portfolio of businesses in the fields of electrical engineering, information communication technologies and applied electronics . Zamefa wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following position:

1.  STORES OFFICER (LUSAKA)

Duties:

•   To maintain the smooth operation of the store as a whole and ensure all movements of stocks are done as per procedures and regulations.
•   To Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods Received.
• Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
• Preparation of weekly reports on stock movements

Qualifications/Experience

• Full Grade Twelve certificate with minimum of credit in English and Mathematics
•  Competent in computer – word, excel, power point
• Diploma in Stores management, CIPS or equivalent
• 2+ years in stores keeping, inventory control or record keeping
• Good interpersonal skills
