Deputy Refugee Officers x3 at Ministry of Home Affairs – Office of the Commissioner for Refugees

The incumbent will report to and assist the Refugee Officer in the management of the Refugee Settlement to ensure that all programs are properly implemented for the benefit of refugees and host community. He/she will assist in coordinating Settlement activities with partner ministries, UNHCR and NGOs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full Grade 12 certificate or equivalent;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Economics, Adult Education or Equivalent;
• Minimum of two (2) years demonstrable relevant experience in the humanitarian field work on a donor funded project.
• Experience in management and supervision of others; ability to take a strong leadership role;
• Experience in working as part of a strong team
• Strong Computer skills including spread sheets, word processing and email;
