Engineering Intern – Lusaka, Zambia: MPower Ventures AG

MPower Ventures, a Zurich and Madrid based for-profit start-up in the energy access area (www.mpower.africa), is looking for an independent and entrepreneurial engineering intern in Zambia. This is an exciting opportunity in a fascinating and rapidly growing field and in start-up environment.

The main tasks of the intern are summarized below:

• Develop and implement quality assurance strategy
• Assist with product testing and development
• Develop and implement after-sales strategy
• Ad-hoc support of MPower’s local Sourcing Analyst

The ideal candidate has experience in emerging markets (Africa experience is a plus), first working experience (ideally in a technical position) and proficient knowledge of English.

The details of the internship assignment are to be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Ideally, the internship starts in Q1 2019 with a duration of four two eight months.
