Programmes Officer

Main purpose ofthe Job:

To maintain a viable Loan Scheme and a sound Revolving Fund.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully scrutinise Loan Application to ascertain viability
• Offer professional advice to management on suitability of Loan Applications Appraisal ofthe Loan Application
• Facilitate the Approval Process within the Trust and between Management and the Loans, Monitoringand Evaluation Committee
• Monitor the utilization of resources by borrowers.
• Facilitate Loan Repayments — especially those that are due.
• Enforce provisions of loan agreements
• Develop and implement an efficient but sensitive debt collection mechanism
• Coordinate the activities of the Trust
• Take the minutes during the Loans, Monitoring and Evaluation Committee meetings
• To do any other duties as may be assigned by the management

Qualifications and experience

• Relevant Bachelor’ s Degree [e.g. social sciences, disability etc.]
• Three [3] years minimum experience
• Computer literate
• Needed qualities and attributes
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of micro finance
