Description

Nelt Zambia is looking for a suitably qualified candidate to assume the role of Sales Supervisor. This individual will be in charge of the entire sales team responsible for traditional trade.

Basic activities and responsibilities

1. Effectiveness and efficiency of the “Traditional trade” channel

2. Organizes and coordinates sales activities in order to achieve the company’s sales and DPSM goals (Distribution, Prices, Shelf, Merchandising) on ​​the Zambian market

a. Ensure that vendors comply with import procedures and laws.

b. Responsible for realization of the set goals and action plans of the Zambian market

3. Responsible for improving the process in your domain

4. Responsible for the development of people in the department you manage.

5. Responsible to give an example and motivate subordinates to behave in accordance with company values ​​and represent them within and outside the company.

6. Responsible for the resources of the companies entrusted to use you.

7. Responsible tocunduct business in accordance with the procedures and rules of Nelt Zambia.

8. Responsible for maintaining a high level of cooperation with other teams and departments in the company.

9. Responsible to conduct yourself  in accordance with company values, in and out of the company.

10. Responsible for the protection of company information that you are privy to.

11. Lead your team in achieving monthly business goals, monitors results against set goals, identifies and analyzes areas with the potential to improve sales in the Zambian market:

a.  Develops and updates, along with each PSR, effective field coverage, optimal routes in line with business goals, checks productivity to ensure achievement of the objectives / Coverage plan

b. Ensures full application of daily procedures and processes

c. Develops and updates the database of stores in their region and acts in accordance with the strategies and projects of the company for the Zambian market

d. It monitors the collection of receivables on a weekly basis and reports to PSRs and superiors

e. Coordinates and completes reports for senior managers on the Zambian market

f. Real status reports of DPSM goals and POS materials

12. Ensures the execution of all the focus, initiatives and promotions in the field and provides evaluation and reporting in order to direct management:

a) 2.1. It sets goals, tasks, initiative / promotion, and is responsible for their team

b) 2.2. Leads its team in line with the company’s business priorities, in order to achieve sales targets and DPSM goals.

12. Ensures the timely performance of all immigration activities (arrival and departure on time, the occurrence of customers always at the same or similar time, distributes and Terms and competences

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Diploma
  • Computer Literate
  • Driver’s license B category (active driver)
  • Good communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Minimum 2 Years experience in FMCG Sales in Traditional Trade
  • Must be willing to travel frequently by road to other Nelt branches and main towns within Zambia
