Occupational Health and Safety Institute located in Kitwe, established under the Occupational Health and Safety Act No 36 of 2010 is looking a suitably qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the following positions:

PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER (1)

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

To co-ordinate the provision of Occupational Health and Safety Institute semces in order to contribute to the promotion of a healthy and safe work envionment nationally.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior management
• Produce promotional material and publications eg Calendars; diaries, brochures
• Seek opportunities for sensitising on the Institutes services
• Preoare and submit PR reports
• To undertake accurate issuance of press releases in order to inform the public
  To coordinate accurate publication of various literature in the programmes of the Institute
• To undetmæ accurately compilation of media and other repots on matters of public interest in order to enhance the image of the institute

Qualifications/Experience

Form Five (5)/Full Grade 12 Certificate. BSc/BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field; Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar PR role; 3 years job experience Background in researching; writing and editing publications; Proficient in MS Office and social media

Attributes: Good interpersonal and public relations skills; Strong communication ability (oral and written); Excellent organizational skills; Ability to uork well under pressure; Creativity and problem-solving aptitude
