Field Accountant

The Lake Tanganyika field is looking for someone to join the team to oversee the finances for 15+ projects and ministries. Hands-on involvement with ministry activities is expected. This opportunity is right for someone who enjoys seeing that all of the numbers are recorded and reported correctly and also enjoys interacting with the people making the ministries happen.

Requirements

College degree required, preferably in a finance or accounting field but not necessarily. Good communication skills in English and Microsoft Excel required.
Responsibiltiies include using the OM financial system to track gifts that have come in and ensure that the funds are spent on the correct project or ministry.
The work is based from the ministry base office in a dynamic environment.
The Field Accountant will also interact with short term outreach teams.
