Personnel Officer

The Field Personnel Officers’ primary responsibilities in serving Operation Mobilisation are:

• To ensure maintenance of accurate records and paperwork for all personnel on the field
• To comply with OM personnel policy and agreed best practice
• To assist in making personnel needs known
• To communicate with the home offices of team members
• Care for and value of team members
• To work with others, and especially the field leader, to promote excellence

Requirements

Individual should be:

• Mature
• Experienced in the role
• Familiar with Africa and African culture
• Ability to deal with administration and people issues
• Confront Issues

Primary working relationships: Support Services Leader, Field Leader, Area Personnel Officer

Other key working relationships: Other Field Personnel Officers in the area, other leaders within the field, other administrative staff
