Prisoners’ Future Foundation (PFF) is a local non-governmental organization duly registered in the Republic of Zambia under the NGO Act of 2009. The organization was formed to look into the welfare of serving and former inmates, including citizens who, though un-convicted, have come in contact with the criminal justice system.
PFF with support from the European Union and the Federal Government of the Republic of German, under the Programme for Legal Empowerment and Enhanced Justice Delivery (PLEED) is running a project “Promoting human rights awareness, legal education, advice and assistance through continued operation of a paralegal desk at ,Ndola Remand, Kansenshi and Kamfinsa Correctional Facility on the copperbelt province of Zambia.
In order to successfully run these paralegal desks, PFF seeks applications from interested candidates who meet the following;
- Must be Zambian possessing a Green National Registration card
- Must possess a diploma in Law from a recognised college/university.
- Must have proven work experience as paralegal officer preferably in the prison environment
- Must be willing to start work immediately
- Ability to work in with minimum Supervision
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft excel and word.
- Any qualification or experience in ICT will be an added advantage
