As an Account Manager you will...

Play a key role in promoting our complex services and solutions to our clients. You will demonstrate ProComm’s expertise in Networking, Unified Communications, Security and Server/Virtualisation specialist areas, in order to spot new business opportunities and sell our services and solutions. In this job you will work closely with Sales

  • We will ask you to analyse the client’s business needs in order to demonstrate the added value and benefits that ProComm is able to offer
  • You will need to have a detailed knowledge of our services and solutions, and work closely together with vendors in order to understand their strategies, as well as how these impact the client
  • We will rely on you to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets, and pursue profitable deals
  • You will also be required to understand the competitive industry environment and educate the team about the specific market dynamics, in order to favourably position ProComm
  • But most of all, we need you to be the person driving the team, including solution architects, to deliver the best solution for the client, as well as strive for exceptional client service and increase our business revenue
  • Engineers to support you in more complex environments.

As an Account Manager:

Here’s what we are looking for in candidates for this job:

Key requirements:

  • Experience in ICT sales and solutions environment
  • A degree/diploma and sales qualification, as well as an IT Sales vendor certification preferred e.g.
    Cisco, Microsoft, HP, Avaya, VMWare, etc.
  • Good English language skills
  • Candidate should preferable have experience in some of the following ICT areas, Networking, Security,Servers, Virtualisation, Unified Communications, Data Centers, or Telecommunications.

Key abilities required:

  • Ability to build relationships, identify customer needs, and make recommendations to drive our sales
  • Able to lead and motivate teams – a highly organised, professional sort of person
  • Being a strong communicator – someone who can get our value position across to our clients, present a persuasive business deal, and influence others in order to achieve the required results
  • We need you to display strong industry knowledge and be business savvy in order to effectively position our solutions in the marketplace
  • We will expect you to contribute ideas to make our internal processes run even smoother
  • Finally, we care about our clients, our colleagues and the environment and we want you to do the same
