Sales Accountant at SANDALWOOD Limited

An opportunity has come available for our client who is a New Player in the FMCG Manufacturing Industry and is looking for a Sales Accountant to be based in Lusaka.

Title: Sales Accountant
Department(s): Commercial
Reporting to: Sales Accounting Manager

Key Deliverables

Due to expansion, our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Accountant to support our Commercial Director within a busy finance team.

Duties:

• Reconciling all hypermarkets
• Processing all receipts for customers
• Processing all claims from customers
• Resolving any issue relating to customers disputed balances,
• Accounting for all customers’ executives’ shortages
• Ensure that Value Added Tax is accounted for properly
• Manage subordinates and provide direction
• Assist also during month end stock takings

Requirements

• Full ACCA/CIMA/ZICA (Or Part Qualified)
• Full Membership of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) and paid up to 2019
• Verifiable experience dealing with Hypermarkets not negotiable
• Ability to work under pressure especially during the audit and work extra hours if required
• Ability to use a computer and good knowledge of SAP accounting package is added advantage
• Good interpersonal skill
