Tiger Animal Feeds a leading stock feed manufacturer in Zambia invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of:

CASH BOOK ACCOUNTANT AND 3 VACANCIES IN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT

The candidates should possess the following minimum qualifications and characteristics.

  • A Grade 12 school certificate with good passes.
  • A diploma in Accountancy or Business Administration fields.

Abilities / Skills

  • Good knowledge of bank procedures and cash book reconciliations.
  • Able to communicate in both spoken and written English.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • 2 – 3 years work experience in an accounting position.

Minimum job specification:

  • Responsible for preparing bank reconciliations.
  • • Daily reconciliation of cash receipts to bank deposits.
  • • Maintaining petty cash and any related reconciliations.
  • • Responsible to ensure that all bank transactions are up to date on the accounting system.
  • • Responsible to ensure all internal controls relating to the cash cycle are followed.
