Floor Supervisor – Retail at TopFloor

Our Client a leading Book Store seeks to hire a Floor Supervisor to join their team in Ndola.

Duties and Responsibilities

a) Responsible for the Retail Floor operations of your location
b) Ensure planning, organizing and controlling resources to achieve business objectives of the location
c) Responsible for the adherence of strategic direction in employee relations, customer satisfaction, and quality systems deployment
d) Ensure sales are at optimum as per budget
e) Ensure day to day operations, shop management and improvements
f) Ensure floor and space planning management
g) Ensure product merchandising and display
h) Assist the Assistant Manager- Retail to conduct in-store product promotion periodically
i) Ensure that the marketing activities are carried out within the stipulated time frame as specified by the reporting Manager
j) Ensure all due processes of receiving, Goods receipt and follow up short/damaged/excess is followed as per laid out policies, with respective department heads
k) Ensure periodic review of the prices at the locations is done with international, regional and local prices. Ensure corrective measures are taken with due approvals to optimize the pricing, in conjunction with the Reporting Manager.
l) Ensure that shrinkage at locations are monitored and keep the same under control
m) Responsible for people development within the branch and defining manpower strength for the outlet
n) Conduct staff appraisals/reviews periodically, and, ensure adherence to the laid down KPI’s, and, apprise your Reporting Manager of any personnel issues, which hampers business.
