Description
Our Client a leading Book Store seeks to hire a Shop Assistant to join their team in Ndola.
Duties and Responsibilities
a) Ensure to welcome customers by greeting them; offering assistance.
b) Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
c) Asses’ customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features.
d) “Go the extra mile” to drive sales.
e) Ensure in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas are maintained
f) Actively seek out customers in the store. Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
g) Advise customers by providing information on products.
h) Remain knowledgeable of products offered and discuss available options. Help customers make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions
i) Ensure cross-selling of products
j) Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
k) Ensure customer retention by building trust relationships with customers.
