Description

1) WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Manage the dispatching process and supervise the execution of logistical and warehouse processes including inbound and outbound goods, transportation and warehouse and stock integrity. Ensure that warehouse staff are well directed and supervised, and that support is given where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Pastel Partner preferred
  • Diploma in Warehousing and Logistics (or similar) advantageous
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office environment and standard office and warehouse equipment and systems is necessary
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail, maintain focus on tasks and produce accurate work
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Have strong organisational, planning and supervisory skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and effectively work with a diverse team

2) ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

You will be a highly experienced technically proficient leader, who will manage our project delivery and mentor the in-country teams towards the successful delivery of detailed design of high-end building projects based in the Middle East.

Requirements:

  • A recognised BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or related field of study
  • Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience
  • Significant experience of delivering major, high-end building project within Africa
  • A professional registration is an advantage
  • Ability to demonstrate strong technical knowledge of Electrical Engineering
  • Technical expertise and experience of relevant local GCC design standards and codes to include, specifically in Southern Africa
  • Technical expertise and experience of European/US-based design codes/standards and Statutory Regulations.
  • Proven track record in leading Project delivery and people towards the delivery of major Africa Mining projects
  • Excellent planning, time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure for all projects at the commencement of each stage that the full briefing documentation has been received and reviewed for completeness and handovers have been conducted
  • Provide technical leadership and support to the engineering teams undertaking all Electrical Engineering packages
  • You are responsible for ensuring the detailed design is delivered to the required quality and industry best practice, which includes but not limited to:
  • The preparation of design documents including calculation packages
  • Reports
  • Presentations
  • Most importantly – strict adherence to the specifications of African codes and standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality is consistently achieved through the regular monitoring and review of work, which includes but not limited to;
  • Reviewing design work carried out by the team is in line project specific requirements and SSH Standards
  • Critically evaluate, review and provide recommendations for improvements for all aspects of the technical design processes
  • Provide mitigation strategies and enhancements to drive continuous improvement processes.
  • Support project leads in the leadership of technical interfaces and coordination of design across multidisciplinary interfaces and at a project level
  • Lead and partake in providing support, guidance, mentoring of individuals and the development of programmes that enhance the knowledge and capability of the local workforce, towards the delivery of African project.
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the discipline, across the GCC design teams and Senior leadership towards the positive collaboration of project delivery teams.
  • Overview all work stage budgets for projects, through the detailed monitoring and forecasting of resource demands. Deliver work packages and ensure project delivery is in budget and provide mitigation strategies to address potential budget issues.
  • Attend all design team meetings, briefing sessions and project reviews as required.
  • Travel to any of our GCC offices as needed for the project and determined by your line manager.
  • Lead risk management throughout the project, ensuring that both GCC technical and commercial risks are identified, mitigation strategies are put in place as discussed and agreed with the Discipline Lead of MEP as necessary.

3) AUTO ELECTRICIAN

Trade Tested Auto Electrician with at least 3 years post apprenticeship experience as an Auto Electrician in a heavy, mining or plant environment.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Trade Certificate as Auto Electrician
  • 3 years post apprenticeship experience as auto electrician in a heavy industrial, mining or plant environment
  • Valid class C1 driving license

KPAs:

  • Auto electrical services
  • Services inspections and reporting
  • Comply with SHERQ standards
  • Asset Care

4) SHEQ COORDINATOR

Duties

  • Coordinate Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management Practices and activities of the maintenance teams and site-based contractors for all activities including projects, assist in the smooth running of the maintenance division through proper Management support and guidance.
  • Ensuring that risk assessments are carried out and that Health, Safety and Environmental Plans are adhered to.
  • Conduct task observations, workplace and IMS Self-Assessment Audits regularly and submit report to management.
  • Running accident prevention and fire safety programs for their employers.
  • Develop, implement and maintain an effective contract specific SHE management system.
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations, determine probable causes and make recommendations for corrective action.
  • Convene and attend monthly safety meetings and ensures minutes are taken
  • Ensuring that all SHE files are compiled and approved by Management.
  • Ensure all sub-contractors appointed in writing in terms of section 37.2, attended site induction and sub-contractors are audited on a monthly basis.

Requirements

  • BTECH Safety Management, National Diploma in Safety Management or Samtrac
    Matric (Senior Certificate)
  • More than 3 years’ experience in administrative or customer care environment.
  • Project Management Skills, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, SHE Management exposure and qualifications
  • Knowledge of OHS Act and Regulations
