Support efforts to improve the quality of patient centered services across the projects supported by the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) by:
Monitoring the implementation of the UMB projects’ performance improvement plans
Providing technical assistance to the UMB field offices for:
The development and monitoring of district and facility annual quality management and quality improvement plans
Granular site management
Identifying gaps in meeting the minimum service standards in service delivery and identifying sustainable, site-level driven program improvement solutions
Assisted data demand, utilization by health workers
Reviewing technical support visits reports and providing feedback to project staff
Participation in the provincial QA/QI activities
On a quarterly basis support field office visits to districts and selected facilities to strengthen the implementation of QA/QI interventions
Represents the UMB at the national QA/QI Technical Working Group and at donor led platforms
Keeping a library on best practices and evidence based improvement strategies
Being resourceful in identifying different methodologies/tools/resources to enhance improving the different dimensions of quality
Work with different UMB departments to strengthen systems and processes for improved program performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
Three (3) years’ experience HIV Care and Treatment
Experience in QA/QI
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, an added advantage
Knowledge in Microsoft software and other data analysis packages as an added advantage
