Description

To achieve the best possible supply cover & cost benefit thus optimizing Supply & Distribution return, cash flow, and working capital whilst meeting requirements of customer value propositions and service level agreements.

Principal Accountabilities

  • To manage all aspects of product supply, product receipt, storage of petroleum
    • products, Road stock control management.

    • To efficiently control product stocks within Gain/loss agreed limits.
    • To monitor unit distribution cost as per agreed target.
    • Manage internal partnerships with Retail, Supply and Business to Business.
    • To manage short and medium term supply plan and imports for finished products.
    • Participate in negotiations of supply deals, exchange and service arrangements with industry and local authorities.
    • To represent and manage Vivo Energy’s interests on Distribution issues with Group, competition regulatory authorities.
    • To manage Road Transport contractors and ensure a safe, reliable and cost effective distribution activity.
    • To ensure safety and security of all staff, contractors and company property at all times.
    • Ensure contingency plans work and cover the risks of service disruptions.
    • Accountable for developing and implementing Projects with the strategic objective of creating a continuous improvement momentum in the S&D value chain.



Job Knowledge , Skills and Experience.



  • A strong distribution professional with a university degree, preferably in Engineering.

  • Experience in Supply and Distribution activities, including Depot and Road Transport management.

  • Self-motivated, mature professional with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to analyse and develop proposals and solutions to a wide range of technical and operational problems.

  • Ability to manage and integrate with others in different functions.

  • Ability to work and integrate in a multicultural and diverse team.

  • Good communicator, both written and oral.

  • Ability to manage and lead change.

  • Demonstrable experience in managing government/stakeholder relationships.
