ICT Officer – South at Yalelo Limited

Yalelo is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and hard-working individual to work as an ICT Officer.

The ICT officer will provide help desk and systems support. He/She will focus on troubleshooting network, server and database problems in addition to resolving end user requests and incidents. He/She is expected to be a driven team
member who is resourceful and strives to achieve continuous improvement at all levels.

The Right-Fit candidate must have:

• Experience working with various operating systems (Windows Server 2012, Windows Desktop; 7, 8, 10,)
• Knowledge or basic experience with computer networking; wireless connectivity, cable management, switching
• Knowledge or experience with trouble ticket management using ticketing tools such as MAXIMO, REMEDY, ZENDESK, etc. current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 packages including SharePoint
• Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing software solutions
• Expertise with troubleshooting and fixing computer hardware problems.

The Essentials:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in ICT support. Professional certification (s) such as CCNA, CompTiA+, etc. are a plus
• Proven experience in Network Configuration, Administration and Maintenance
• Proven experience in Applications Support and Enhancement
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 packages
• Practical knowledge of ITIL v3 processes including Incident, Problem and Change Management
• Hands-on desktop support experience
• People management experience
• Experience of producing analytical reports.
• Holder of a valid driving license.
