Procurement Officer

Zambia Air Services Training Institute (ZASTI) is an Institution under the Ministry of Transport and Communication whose mandate is to provide needed human resource for the aviation industry. The Institute would like to recruit Zambians to fill the following vacant position.

PROCUREMENT OFFICER

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Plan buying programmes based on purchase requests from various Departments
• Obtain quotations from suppliers for forwarding to approving authorities.
• Initiate annual purchasing budget for the approval of Management.
• Screen purchase requests from user departments/stores
• Verify goods received notes for the suppliers upon delivery of items to ensure supply made is in accordance with LPO requirements

Qualification Requirements

• Diploma in Purchasing and Supply
• Not less than three years work experience
• Must be a member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply
