Assistant Accountant at Zambia international Trade Fair Limited

Zambia international Trade Fair Limited is offering employment opportunity for the services of a qualified, experienced, self-starting and enthusiastic person to fill the position of Assistant Accountant.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting to the Accountant, he/she will manage and carryout finance and accounts duties within the prescribed policies and procedures in order to facilitate effective operations of ZITF and timely production of Statements of Accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) credits or better
• Minimum of a Bachelor of accountancy Degree ,ZICA Licentiate or Equivalent
• Knowledge of accounting packages especially Pastel is a must
• Knowledge of Dove Payroll software will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards(IFRS)
• Must be a member of ZICA (Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants)
• Experience of not less than 2 years in a reputable organization preferably public sector
