We are therefore inviting applications to fill the following vacant position in the Supply Department – Lusaka:

PROCESS ARTISAN – PACKAGING (X2)

Contract: Permanent

The successful candidates will report to the Packaging Engineer and will be mainly responsible for the following:

• Maintaining, repairing and optimizing plant equipment and associated devices
• Operating and monitoring equipment when required
• Optimizing plant performance in terms of productivity, quality, delivery, cost and safety
• Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
• Applying the Manufacturing Way Principles and Practices
• Applying problem solving processes

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following requirements:-

• Grade 12 certificate with six credits
• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in Manufacturing
• Ability to communicate well
• Must be a team player
• Ability to adhere to instructions, work in shifts with minimum supervision and action oriented
• Sober mind, self-starter, physically fit and honest

MECHANICAL ARTISAN – ENERGY AND FLUIDS (X1)

Contract: Permanent

The successful candidate will report to the Maintenance Controller and will be mainly responsible for the following:

• Complying with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislation
• Locating plant equipment, spares and relevant documentation/ systems
• Planning and preparing the job.
• Maintaining safe and housekeeping standards
• Carrying out repairs/maintenance
• Continuously improving (optimizing) plant, process, equipment and systems
• Communicating effectively in teams

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following requirements:-

• Grade 12 certificate with six credits
• Advanced Technician or Diploma in mechanical/ Electrical.
• With at least three years hands on experience in a busy industry
• Ability to communicate well
• Must be a team player
• Ability to adhere to instructions, work in shifts with minimum supervision and action oriented
• Sober mind, self-starter, physically fit and honest
