REAL ESTATES OFFICER – LUSAKA

JOB PURPOSE: To provide effective and efficient management of property, maintenance, repairs and Tenant Lease Agreements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rent collection;
• Leasing and marketing;
• Tenant management;
• Annual budget preparation;
• Maintenance and repairs: Supervising and assigning duties to maintenance staff and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ);
• Preparation of property performance reports, lease agreements, manual tax invoices, offer letters, payments vouchers, memos, rent demand notes, rent account statements, rental reminders and statements of arrears;
• Filing of documents and posing receipts on the property management system
• Raise cheque requisitions for all property outgoings such as electricity, property rates, lift maintenance, garbage collection and sewerage charges;
• Raise purchase requisitions for engagement of contractors to undertake major maintenance related works or any other required services;
• Undertake weekly inspections to ensure that the surroundings are swept and kept clean at all times;
• Any other duties that management may assign.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science in Real Estate or equivalent
• Minimum three (3) years’ work experience
• Computer literate, proficient With MS Word, Excel
